Update on the gerbils

Hagrid and Sirus have tumors. Hagrid's is worse. He had scent gland surgery earlier this year. Another popped up. Its real bad now. its causing him discomfort and pain. He is not happy. Vet appointment is planned for Friday. No more suffering. Sirus is doing alright. I have feeling once Hagrid is gone Sirius will soon follow. The brothers are very close.

Coal is doing alright. He had tumor shaved off not removed. Most of it was on the outside causing him discomfort. He is doing great. My very vocal boy. Tried pairing him up with a pup. He couldn't stop being a bully. Coal has no teeth so he needs to eat special food like Hagrid and Coal.

Lucy and the girls are doing great. Daughter Luna is planning on moving out to live with Ash. The pup that Coal didn't expect. Any pups from this pairing will be up for adoption.

Wayne and the boys are doing great. Daddy Wayne is an old man now. Lost lots of weight but still active in eating the ground up special food. His boys take good care of him. I think Wayne would have passed a long time ago but is boys are keeping him going.

Speedy and Sam are doing great. No problems with these boys. Lucy and Waynes first litter.

Freddie the hamster is doing just fine too. A very friendly fuzzy longhaired hammy.

Christmas Eve 2024

It was a different Christmas eve. First Christmas without mom. We lost mom on 11/25. I had dad over this afternoon for dinner, movie and just visiting. I made my ham and noodle casserole that dad loves. I baked sour cream cookies earlier in the week. We watched the new Christmas movie Red One. The movie was great. I think dad enjoyed himself. Joanne had to work but it worked out. I took dad home. Hung out at the house for a little bit with Joanne. Exchanged gifts. It was a good Christmas. Dad enjoyed seeing the baby gerbils.
